A basic Introduction to Diversity & Inclusion
The topic of diversity is becoming increasingly important in the wake of globalization and the shortage of skilled workers, also in research contexts. More and more third-party funders are calling for concepts and concrete measures to increase diversity in research groups.
In this workshop, the basics of diversity management for the academic context will be explained. With the help of case studies, risks and opportunities of a diverse workforce and diversity-sensitive leadership will be discussed. In addition to the goal of increasing awareness of the topic, practical tips for everyday work are to be provided.
